Taylor Peak is a 13,158-foot summit in the Front Range of north-central Colorado within Rocky Mountain National Park. Rising at the head of Loch Vale just north of Taylor Glacier, it forms part of the high alpine setting of steep peaks and glacial terrain surrounding this well-known valley. The mountain’s present name is recorded from 1932, and it was also historically known as The Bangs.
