Jewel Basin is a protected area in Montana within the Flathead National Forest, at the north end of the Swan Range between Kalispell and Hungry Horse Reservoir. Known primarily as a hiking destination, it is specially reserved for hiking only, with motorized vehicles and horses prohibited. The basin encompasses 15,349 acres and contains 27 lakes and 35 miles of trails. Its main parking area is accessed from Montana Highway 83 by way of Echo Lake Road and Jewel Basin Road, also designated Forest Service Road 5392.
