Taylor Creek Wilderness
Nature
Taylor Creek Wilderness is a small federally protected wilderness area in Utah covering 32 acres beside the Kolob Canyons region of Zion National Park. It protects the upper headwaters of Taylor Creek, which flows into the Virgin River, a river protected in part as Wild and Scenic. Created on March 30, 2009, by the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, it adjoins the larger Zion Wilderness on the southwest and extends wilderness protection to a narrow but important headwater landscape at the edge of Zion.
