Kolob Arch is a natural arch high on a cliffside in Zion National Park’s Kolob Canyons in southwestern Utah. Considered one of the park’s notable rock formations, it was measured by the Natural Arch and Bridge Society in 2006 with a span of 287.4 feet, placing it as the world’s sixth-longest natural arch at that time, slightly shorter than Landscape Arch in Arches National Park. The society also noted that shifts in measurement methods or in the definition of an arch could change that ranking. Reaching Kolob Arch requires a substantial hike of about fourteen miles round trip or access by a canyoneering route through Ice Box Canyon.
