Members of the Armed Forces of the United States honored here include the honored dead R. Abbott, E. Beran, A. Franke, N. Johnson, J. Lazansky, F. Reynolds, J. R. Sedivec, and E. Steckelberg. AMVET Pearl Harbor Memorial Post 245 and the Cary Park District worked jointly to enhance and restore Veterans Park, with support from American Legion Raymond Wauscher 275, Fox River Grove VFW 4213, West River Concrete, Meyer Material, D and M Yard Maintenance, Klingl Electric, and patriotic individuals who helped make the project a reality on Memorial Day, May 27, 1996.
