Grand Mogul is a 9,733-foot mountain peak in Idaho’s Sawtooth Range, within the Sawtooth Wilderness of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. Rising at the southwest end of Redfish Lake, it occupies a striking part of central Idaho noted for steep granite summits and alpine scenery. The peak lies just north-northwest of Little Decker, its line parent, and southeast of Mount Heyburn. Although less famous than some nearby summits, Grand Mogul overlooks one of the most recognizable landscapes in the Sawtooth Mountains, giving it significance within this dramatic mountain setting.
