Puzzle Mountain, in Oxford County in western Maine, is one of the easternmost summits in the Mahoosuc Range and lies within the Androscoggin River watershed. Just north-northwest of its true summit stands a false peak known as Little Puzzle Mountain. The mountain is especially known to hikers through the Grafton Loop Trail, which approaches from the south along old logging roads before climbing to exposed granite ledges with views of the Sunday River Ski Area, Grafton Notch, and the Presidential Range. Its summit offers broad panoramic views, sometimes reaching Sugarloaf Mountain. The connected Woodsum Loop also provides access to several previously inaccessible false peaks.
