Sunday River Whitecap is a 3,335-foot mountain in western Maine's Oxford County, valued for its open summit and sweeping views. Near Slide Mountain and Stowe Mountain, it rises within the Androscoggin River watershed, with slopes draining by different streams into the Androscoggin. From the summit, visitors can see the White Mountains, the Mahoosuc Range, Puzzle Mountain, the Androscoggin River valley, and the Sunday River ski resort. Its usual approach is the Grafton Loop Trail, whose spur to the peak was finished in 2007. Easy access and a full 360-degree panorama have made it a notable hiking destination in this part of Maine.
