Mount Whittier is a mountain in New Hampshire's northern Ossipee Mountains, named for poet John Greenleaf Whittier. It is distinct from nearby Nickerson Mountain, which was also once called Mount Whittier. Although the mountain has no hiking trails today, its northern face once featured an alpine ski trail built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, preserving a trace of an earlier era of recreational development in the region.
