Ahern Peak is an 8,753-foot mountain in Montana’s Glacier National Park, in the Lewis Range. It rises just southwest of Helen Lake and straddles the Continental Divide, placing it on one of the park’s most important geographic lines. Named for George Patrick Ahern, the peak is also closely associated with Ahern Glacier, which lies immediately to its north. Together these features form part of the rugged alpine landscape that defines this section of Glacier National Park.
