Mount Arab, also called Arab Mountain, is a 2,533-foot peak in Piercefield in northern New York within the Adirondack Mountains. Known as both a local summit and a popular hiking destination in the Northern Adirondacks, it is crowned by the Arab Mountain Fire Observation Station, including a large fire tower and ranger station. Broad views of the surrounding mountains and lakes and a relatively short climb have made it a frequent destination for visitors. The name also applies to a small hamlet in southern Piercefield near Conifer. The mountain remains closely linked to its fire tower, lookout history, and role as an accessible Adirondack viewpoint.
