Mecca Covered Bridge is a historic covered road bridge spanning Big Raccoon Creek just east of Mecca, Indiana. Built in 1873 by J. J. Daniels, it is a single-span Burr Arch Truss structure measuring 176 feet long, 17 feet wide, and 12.5 feet high. Its size reflects both its practical role as a rural crossing and the substantial timber engineering of its era. In 1978, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as part of Indiana’s surviving covered-bridge heritage.
