Circa 1910, Braca Enterprises at JFK Blvd and Pleasure Ave included the Braca Cafe, newsstand, and movie theatre and had been in business for over 100 years. Trains turned south onto Pleasure Ave to Townsends Inlet, Avalon, and Stone Harbor, stopping along the way to drop off passengers.
