Snowshoe Peak is the highest summit in the Cabinet Mountains, a range stretching across northwestern Montana and Idaho. At 8,738 feet, or 2,663 meters, it is the highest point in this rugged part of the northern Rocky Mountains and an important landmark within Montana’s mountainous landscape.
