De Gaulle and His Troops is a sharply rising 5,540-foot butte in southeastern Utah's Valley of the Gods, on Bureau of Land Management land west of Bluff. Formed from layers of the Cutler Formation, it has a softer Halgaito base and harder Cedar Mesa Sandstone cliffs, shaped by erosion into the isolated buttes characteristic of the valley, above a floor of Honaker Trail Formation. Runoff reaches the San Juan River through Lime Creek. Also known to climbers as North Tower, it has notable climbing history, including the first ascent of the main summit in 1974 and later ascents of additional routes and the attached Arrowhead Spire in the 1980s and 1990s.
