Wygant State Natural Area is an Oregon state park in the Columbia River Gorge, west of Hood River near Mitchell Point, managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. It is chiefly an undeveloped hiking area with no facilities rather than a built recreation site. Its main route starts on an abandoned paved road that once formed part of the Historic Columbia River Highway before that section was bypassed around 1960 when Interstate 84 opened. The trail then passes through dense forest and mountainous ground with views over the Gorge, and also includes prairie and desert stretches. Wygant is one of three nearby natural areas.
