Vinzenz Lausmann Memorial State Natural Area is a 126-acre Oregon state park in northern Hood River County, about 5.3 miles west of Hood River, within the Columbia River Gorge and the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Beside an abandoned section of the Historic Columbia River Highway, it is tied to both the Gorge’s early scenic road system and today’s hiking routes and viewpoints. Together with nearby Seneca Fouts Memorial State Natural Area and Wygant State Natural Area near Mitchell Point, it forms part of a scenic protected landscape known for broad Gorge views. The Lausmann family donated the land to Oregon in memory of Vinzenz Lausmann.
