Wah Gwin Gwin Falls, also called Lullaby Falls, is a waterfall on Phelps Creek at the historic Columbia Gorge Hotel south of Hood River, Oregon. Its most notable feature is a 207-foot main drop that descends in steep cascades before reaching the Columbia River. The falls run beside a terrace at the back edge of the hotel, where a masonry wall built in the same ashlar style as the hotel entrance helps define the setting. The name, and an earlier hotel on the site, may come from a Native American word meaning “rushing waters.” The waterfall remains a distinctive natural feature of this part of the Columbia Gorge.
