The Connecticut Antique Machinery Association is a museum in Kent, Connecticut, dedicated to preserving historic machinery and interpreting industrial technology. Emerging from a local group of hobbyists organized in 1984, it opened to the public in September 1985 on a fourteen-acre site. Its collections highlight internal combustion engines, steam engines, agriculture, and logging, reflecting the machinery that shaped work and industry. A distinctive feature of the grounds is a three-foot narrow-gauge railroad, where an operating steam locomotive originally from Hawaii provides a rare working demonstration alongside the museum’s broader exhibits.
