Noonmark Mountain is a 3,556-foot Adirondack peak near St. Huberts in New York’s High Peaks region, noted for sweeping 360-degree views of surrounding ranges, the Ausable River valley, and Keene. Its name comes from its striking appearance from Keene Valley, where the summit sits roughly beneath the sun at mid-day, making it a long-standing visual landmark before it became a hiking destination. Two established routes lead to the top: the Felix Adler Trail, named for Ethical Culture Society founder Dr. Felix Adler, and the Stimson Trail, honoring Henry L. Stimson, who helped scout the original trail and later served in national office.
