Stratton Mountain is a 392-metre, L-shaped mountain in Northfield, Massachusetts, in the Bald Hills of eastern Franklin County and within the Connecticut River drainage basin. Known for broad views from both its eastern and western slopes, it is underlain by quartzite and crossed by the Metacomet-Monadnock Trail, making it a popular hiking destination and local landmark. Its eastern side includes the Robinson/Zlogar cabin, built by the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Berkshire Chapter and still maintained by that group. Conservation of the site expanded when the Richardson family donated rights to the town, and in 2021 thirty-two acres including key overlooks and the cabin were transferred to the Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust.
