Connie Glacier
Nature
Connie Glacier is in Wyoming’s Wind River Range within Bridger–Teton National Forest, west of the Continental Divide in the Bridger Wilderness. It occupies a cirque on the north slope of Yukon Peak and terminates at a proglacial lake. The glacier is part of a mountain region known for holding the largest grouping of glaciers in the American Rocky Mountains. Its surroundings reflect the Wind River Range’s high glaciated landscape, where steep headwalls, alpine basins, and persistent ice shape some of the area’s most rugged terrain.
