Sourdough Glacier is in Wyoming’s Wind River Range, within Bridger-Teton National Forest and the Bridger Wilderness, and is part of the largest concentration of glaciers in the American Rocky Mountains. On the north slope of Klondike Peak, it descends from about 12,800 feet to 11,800 feet above sea level. The glacier feeds a proglacial lake and contributes to the stark alpine landscape that defines this high section of the range.
