Klondike Peak is a 13,120-foot mountain in Wyoming’s northern Wind River Range, within the Bridger Wilderness of Bridger-Teton National Forest. About 4 miles north of Gannett Peak and west of the Continental Divide, it rises in a remote alpine landscape marked by icefields, a small summit glacier, J Glacier on its northwest flank, and Sourdough Glacier to the northeast. At 4,000 meters, it is the state’s 26th tallest peak. The mountain stands in rugged terrain where weather and conditions shift quickly, and where hazards such as bears, wildfire, snow, cold, steep rock, and falling stones have contributed to serious accidents over the years.
