Logan State Park is a 17-acre public recreation area in northwestern Montana near Libby, on the north shore of Middle Thompson Lake and just off U.S. Route 2 between Libby and Kalispell. It is part of the larger 3,000-acre Thompson Chain of Lakes State Park system. Its location on Middle Thompson Lake defines its role, with access and facilities centered on swimming, boating, fishing, and camping. As part of the Thompson Chain of Lakes area, it serves as one of the lake-oriented stopping points for visitors using this connected park system.
