Harrower Glacier lies in Wyoming’s northern Wind River Range on the west side of the Continental Divide, within the Bridger Wilderness of Bridger-Teton National Forest. It occupies a cirque below Knife Point Mountain, whose summit rises to 13,001 feet, and flows north from that high basin. The glacier is part of a mountain landscape with one of the largest concentrations of glaciers in the American Rocky Mountains. Its surroundings reflect the character of the Wind River high country, with steep alpine terrain, exposed rock, and enduring ice beneath some of the range’s tallest peaks.
