Francs Peak is a 13,158-foot mountain in Wyoming, the highest summit in the Absaroka Range and the highest point in Park County. Rising in the Washakie Wilderness of Shoshone National Forest, it stands within a major northern Rocky Mountain range that extends into Montana. The peak was named for Otto Franc, a cattle baron and homesteader in the Big Horn Basin during the later 19th century. Its importance lies in both its great elevation and its commanding place as the loftiest summit of the Absarokas.
