Mount Lester is a remote 12,342-foot summit in Wyoming's Wind River Range, within the Bridger Wilderness of Bridger-Teton National Forest. About 21 miles northeast of Pinedale and four miles west of the Continental Divide, it is known for steep relief, with its west face rising roughly 2,000 feet in half a mile. Ranked the 115th-highest peak in the state, it drains into tributaries of the Green River and lies in an alpine subarctic climate marked by long snowy winters and short, storm-prone summers. Its name was in use by 1914 and was later officially adopted, with context linking it to USGS geologist Lester Ward.
